What Are The Shipping Insurance Exemptions?

Customers must accept delivery of the goods and comply with any applicable procedures/handling charges/from their local Customs. If they fail to do so, the insurance will become void.

The insurance will become invalid if the delivery fails due to:

- The consignee not being at home at the time of the delivery or if the courier could not contact them to arrange/rearrange a delivery.

- The customer provided the wrong address during the check out meaning that delivery was unsuccessful.

- The recipient fails to accept the goods upon delivery.

- The courier cannot satisfactorily verify the identity of the person attempting to receive the goods.

- The courier cannot deliver to a remote area or invalid address.

- Delivery fails due to war, disaster, acts of God, or other similar scenarios beyond our control.

- The goods are deemed as ‘delivered’ by the shipping company but the customer states they have not received them.

- The customer refused the package due to Customs tax or duties.

- Packages being destroyed by Customs for any reason.

- Insurance dues not apply to missing items.

In the above cases you agree that Rosegal will not accept liability and no compensation is available.

Note: Shipping insurance can only be invoked 2 times during a 12 month period regardless of the amount of orders placed with Rosegal.
