On occasion, couriers may need a signature as proof of delivery. If you are not in at the time of delivery, the courier may attempt to leave your package in a safe location, or may return again at a later date to attempt delivery once more. Usually they will leave a delivery card with details of how to contact them and you can arrange a date with them for when the delivery will be most convenient for you.
